Then, you'll travel to your accommodation by shared shuttle or bus, along with other guests heading to the same or a nearby hotel.

You will have a double bed in your room for the entire stay, whereas most hotels in Japan only offer twin rooms with 2 single beds!
Day 2 : First steps in the capital
For the first days of your tour, you have complete freedom to explore Tokyo at your leisure. Exploring Tokyo can be an intense but incredibly rewarding experience, as each district boasts its own distinct style and character.
These diverse neighbourhoods collectively tell a rich and universal story of the city, making a district-by-district approach the most effective way to truly experience Tokyo. The Yamanote Line, with its convenient circular route, is ideally suited for this kind of district exploration.
A trip to Tokyo isn't complete without exploring its famous districts: Shinjuku, known for its entertainment and nightlife; Shibuya, for its youthful energy and shopping; and Harajuku, the center of youth fashion and cosplay.
When in these districts, be sure to check out:
- Meiji Jingu, a peaceful imperial shrine.
- Takeshita-Dori, Tokyo's trendy street food and fashion hub.
- Omotesando, Tokyo's own Champs-Élysées.
- Shibuya Crossing, the world-famous pedestrian crossing.Day 3 : Praise to Cupid
Unveiling Tokyo's romantic side, embark on a private guided adventure and have a day unlike any other. This private tour caters to your desires, offering a customisable experience, and the option to delve into Tokyo's must-see sights and cultural gems.
Day 4 : Back to the future
Leaving yesterday's adventures behind, today's highlight soars above the city with a breathtaking helicopter tour! Departing from Shinkiba Heliport between 1pm and dusk, you'll embark on a 17-minute adventure that will leave you speechless.
Soar over iconic landmarks like Tokyo Tower, Ginza, Odaiba, and Rainbow Bridge, experiencing Tokyo from a whole new perspective. This unforgettable experience, showcasing the city's vastness and beauty, will be a cherished memory for both of you.
Or, spice up your romantic journey with a night in a carefully selected Love Hotel in Tokyo (available as an option)!
Day 5 : On the way to visit the emblem of Japan: Mount Fuji!
Our romantic journey begins with a luxurious ride aboard the Odakyu Romance Car! This limited express train whisks you away from Shinjuku station to Hakone in just 1 hour and 20 minutes (included in your Hakone Fee Pass).
Imagine reclining in plush seats, enjoying panoramic views of the unfolding countryside, as excitement builds for your Hakone escape. The "Romance Car" lives up to its name, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable couple's adventure.
Upon arrival, we recommend heading to your ryokan first to drop off your luggage, allowing you to explore the area with ease. You'll be captivated by the stunning scenery of this hot spring resort, including Lake Ashi and its breathtaking views of Mount Fuji (weather permitting).
Don't forget to visit the Owakudani volcanic site, which is accessible by cable car. It's worth noting that all transportation – train, bus, cable car, and funicular – is included in your pass.
Please plan to return to your ryokan around 6:30PM, as a traditional Japanese dinner will be served. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing Japanese-style night's sleep on a comfortable futon!
Included in your tour: a Japanese-style bathroom in your room!
Day 6 : First steps in the capital of Kansai
Traditional Japanese breakfast at the ryokan.
Travel to Osaka, the capital of the Kansai region, by shinkansen from Hakone-Yumoto (via Odawara). We recommend that you start your visit slowly, in the northern and eastern districts:
Immerse yourself in its history with a visit to the medieval castle, its gardens and its cherry blossom trees in bloom during April.
Then, head for the city centre and Nakanoshima Island for a striking contrast between skyscrapers and rose gardens. Continue your exploration with a nature break in Utsubo Park, a haven of peace in the heart of the business district.
Shopaholics will find what they're looking for in Umeda, a veritable temple of Japanese boutiques. Finish your day by climbing to the top of the Umeda Sky Building for a breathtaking panoramic view of the whole of Kansai, and even Kyoto on a clear day!
Day 7 : Gastronomic introduction
For your final day in Osaka, we recommend the following itinerary:
Explore the depths of the sea at the Osaka Kaiyukan aquarium, the largest in the world in terms of volume. Then head to the Tennoji district for an immersion in Japanese culture with a visit to the Shitenno-ji Buddhist temple, one of the oldest in the country.
For a unique relaxation experience, visit Spa World, Japan's largest variety of thermal baths. Let yourself be transported by the retro atmosphere of Shinseikai, then plunge into the technological world of DenDen machi, Osaka's equivalent to Akihabara in Tokyo
Continue your evening in Dotonbori, Japan's liveliest area, renowned for its restaurants, bars and neon signs. Don't forget to try the local culinary specialities, such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki.
Day 8 : The Sacred Island
In the morning, send your luggage to your hotel in Okayama (details in your travel guide, check with the hotel reception staff) so that you can travel light for your night in Miyajima.
Trade mountain views for seaside charm! A 2.5-hour journey (included in your package) brings you to the stunning Sea of Japan coastline. Explore the famed Miyajima Island, a sacred Shinto site accessible by a 15-minute boat ride (included). This "Mont Saint-Michel of Japan" awaits!
Reach your ryokan, near the island's ferry terminal. The time to explore the island has come! Itsukushima-jinja shrine and the great Otorii gate built into the sea are definitely a must-see.

We advise you to head out early to explore the castle and its magnificent Koraku-en garden, one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, before leaving in the middle of the afternoon for the romantic town of Kurashiki, a 17-minute train ride from Okayama (included in your package).

Naoshima is world-famous for its modern art museums, the architecture of some of its buildings, and the scattered outdoor sculptures throughout the island. These numerous museums and buildings were designed by the architect Ando Tadao. Especially impressive is Monet's Water Lilies, displayed in a pure white, naturally-lit room that you enter without shoes.
Please note that an advanced reservation is required in order to access the Chichu Art Museum.
Return to Okayama at the end of the day by the same route as in the morning, in the middle of the Japanese countryside.
Day 11 : The village of many hot springs
Fuel up with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, before embarking on a scenic train journey (included in your package) to Kinosaki Onsen, a charming village nestled amongst mountains. Take advantage of a quick stop in Himeji to explore its majestic UNESCO World Heritage castle, a symbol of Japan's feudal past.
Upon arrival in Kinosaki, prepare to be captivated by its picturesque charm. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of your ryokan's private baths, or venture out to discover the village's seven unique public onsen.
Ditch your usual attire and slip into a yukata, a traditional light Japanese robe provided by your ryokan. Stroll along calming willow-lined canals, past charming shops, as you make your way towards the onsen. Each bath offers a unique experience, from breathtaking rooftop views to invigorating "penguin" saunas and serene outdoor baths.
As the evening unfolds, indulge in a delectable dinner at your ryokan, featuring the region's rich culinary delights, including the famed Japanese sea crab – a true treat for your taste buds.

Afterwards, enjoy a tranquil stroll along the enchanting Philosopher's Path, a scenic canal-side walk, and conclude your exploration at the impressive Nanzen-ji Temple complex, one of Kyoto's most important Zen temples.

Day 15 : Between temples and deer
Today, explore Nara, Japan's ancient first capital, established in the 700s, accessible by a quick train ride. In Nara, you can see old temples, peaceful gardens, and learn a lot about Japanese culture.
First, walk around Nara Park, a big green area with hundreds of friendly deer. People think these deer are special messengers from the gods, and they make the park even more peaceful.
Then, head towards Kasuga-taisha, a Shinto shrine famous for its many bronze and stone lanterns. The paths with the lanterns are beautiful and quiet, and you can feel a special connection to the history there.
Next, be amazed by Todai-ji, where you can find the Daibutsu (Great Buddha). This is a huge bronze statue that shows how important Buddhism is to Nara. You can also see other things in the temple, like the big Nandaimon Gate and other buildings with old religious art.
Return to Kyoto and stop to see the sunset at the Fushimi Inari-taisha, Kyoto's immense shrine of 10,000 torii.
Day 16 : Sayonara, and see you next time!
In the morning, you will take a shared shuttle or bus with other passengers from your hotel or a nearby hotel bound to Kansai International Airport (KIX).

If you would prefer a private transfer at a time of your choosing and with no additional stops, please select the 'Private Taxi to Airport' option.
