From Okayama, it's possible to reach the famous artistic islands of Naoshima, Teshima and Shodoshima, at the crossroads between Honshû and the island of Shikoku, so staying in Okayama is the ideal place to visit this beautiful tourist region.
- Naoshima: A 20-minute boat ride from Okayama's Uno port. It's an island entirely dedicated to art.
