• Reservations for this excursion must be made at least 30 days before the start date of the excursion.
• Your travel documents will be sent to you by email 20 days before your departure.
• For your comfort, we advise you to have your luggage sent to the hotel of the 2nd night from Tokyo and then send it back to Tokyo

Your accommodation

• Some hotels may ask you for a tourist tax upon arrival. It depends on the cities and even the hotels, as some do not include it in the cost of the reservation. It generally amounts to ¥200/night/person (around €1.60) but can be a little higher in 4* hotels. It must be paid in cash at the hotel reception.
• Single room: People traveling alone and/or wishing to reserve a single room must pay a supplement when booking. Please note that in the event of a single room supplement for an order of more than 2 people, it will be applied in all accommodation except in ryokans (3 and 4*). Indeed, as this is traditional accommodation, people under the same reservation are grouped together in spacious rooms that can accommodate up to 5 people.
• 3 person room: If there are 3, 5 or more of you and you do not select the individual supplement, you will be allocated a triple room.
• Names of hotels: The names indicated on the site are given for information only. In the event of unavailability, an establishment of equivalent standard will be scheduled.
• In the ryokan, you will sleep on comfortable futons placed on the tatami. The bedroom has a private sink and WC. As is customary in ryokan in Japan, the “onsen” bathroom is shared (single-sex) unless you take the “private bathroom in the room” option. EN The 4* ryokan (see 4* option) have comfortable raised futons or on Western beds in a traditional tatami room. The bathrooms and toilets of 4* ryokans are private

Your transport

• If the flights were purchased by you without intervention from Japan Experience, it is necessary to send us by email 1 month before your departure your flight information (flight number, airport, date and time of arrival) to allow us to best organize your welcome and airport transfer

• Breakfasts are included in the price of your excursion.
• For lunch, you will also find addresses selected by us in your travel diary.

Cancellation policy:

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 35 days before the departure date.

In case of cancellation, the following fees apply:

• 15% for bookings canceled more than 35 days in advance;
• 50% for cancellations between 35 and 21 days prior to the departure date;
• 75% for cancellations between 20 and 8 days prior to the departure date;
• 100% for cancellations within 7 days of the departure date.

These fees are calculated on the total price of the excursion, excluding insurance.
