A cute traditional Japanese house for up to 4 people.

This adorable house combines traditional Japanese architecture with modern equipment and furniture so you can fully enjoy the best of both worlds. There are 2 floors, connected by a wooden staircase. The tatami bedroom has plenty room for 4 futons. The bathroom has a stunning Japanese hinoki bath, which is well maintained. The kitchen has all your necessities, like a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils. The living room has well designed chairs and sofas to make your stay comfortable. The house also has a small Japanese garden to add a touch of greenery and zen into the busy life of Kyoto.

In order to increase the attractiveness of Kyoto City as an international tourism destination and to plan the further promotion of tourism, Kyoto City will impose a municipal accommodation tax on all guests staying within Kyoto City limits starting on October 1, 2018.

The municipality plans to use the tax revenue to conduct a more balanced method of city planning to make Kyoto both a favorable place to live and to visit.

The tax will be imposed on those staying at any facilities accepting money for accommodation as stipulated in the Hotel and Ryokan Management Law.

This applies to hotels, ryokans, simple accommodations, as well as residence rentals stipulated in the Private Lodging Business Law.

The tax rate is set at :

- 200 yen per night per guest who pays a room charge of less than 20,000 yen per night,

- 500¥ for those paying 20,000¥ to less than 50,000¥ ,

- 1,000¥ for those paying 50,000¥ or more.

The accommodation tax will be collected by your Travel Angel when checking into your house.
