Is a pocket wifi best for me?
Staying connected while traveling through Japan is a top concern on many travelers’ minds. Between wifi hotspots, SIM cards, and pocket wifi, it can be a tricky decision to make, too.
The pocket wifi will allow you to have wifi wherever you go in Japan, and can connect up to 5 devices at one time.
The network name and password will be provided with the device, as well as a charger, case, and return envelope.
To return the device, simply put it, along with all its accessories, into the return envelope and drop the envelope into any post box in Japan (note that there is no post box AFTER security in airports!).

In short, a pocket wifi is great if:
- You are traveling with many devices and/or many people who want to stay connected
- You prefer easy set up
- You don’t mind keeping track of a few extra items in your luggage
