Distant Neighborhood 遥かな町へ
A distant neighborhood
Dozing on a trainand waking up… in the past. On returning to his home village, thisis what happens to a forty-something Japanese man who finds himself back in hisyouth in his teenage body, but with his adult mind. It makes for an unusualand nostalgic story with occasional touches of humor. The author artfully depicts the passing of time anda future that moves ever closer, unchangeable despite already having been livedthrough.
Even the mostreluctant manga reader should give this a try for the universal message and theappeal of the illustrations.
