ANA Airline Maintenance Center ANA 機体工場見学
The plane, behind the scenes
At Tokyo's Haneda International Airport, the airline ANA opens the doors of its maintenance center to you. A unique visit closer to the biggest airliners!
Test your knowledge
Welcomed and guided by an AllNippon Airways staff member, you begin the first part of your visit in the auditorium for a 45-minute presentation on the history of aviation . The video sequences highlight the maintenance of the devices and its technical aspects.
Be very attentive to best answer the little quiz that will be offered to you. Prizes await those of you with the most correct answers! Come on, we give you a little nudge: the direction of rotation of the blades of the turbojet fan tells you its country of manufacture, and the speed of an airplane at takeoff is around 250 km/h. Quiet ! Let's not reveal everything!
The hangar: high-level maintenance
The second part of the visit takes place in the huge technical hangar where engineers, mechanics and maintenance agents take turns 24 hours a day to maintain the aircraft operated by the company.
Your guide will show you behind the scenes of the maintenance of the Boeing 777, Boeing 787 and Boeing 767. A most difficult task when you know that an engine is made up of tens of thousands of parts!

The immensity of the hangar, capable of accommodating several aircraft at the same time, is dizzying! Gigantic proportions which oblige the staff to move around by bicycle inside it! Although the tour is conducted exclusively in Japanese, this unique and awe-inspiring experience is definitely worth the trip. Especially since the view offered on the planes taking off on the nearby runways is fantastic.
