Top 10 Disney Park Attractions in Tokyo 東京ディズニーリゾートのアトラクションランキング
disney for dummies
Don't want to waste two hours (or more!) waiting in line for an attraction that isn't really worth it? Follow our guide to the top ten must-do attractions if you visit both Disney parks during your stay in Japan.
Paradise for children but not only, Disney is a magical destination for the whole family . Equally popular with couples and groups of friends, the two amusement parks are hard to navigate when you don't know what you're going to find there. Moreover, it seems complicated to explore the two parks in one day (moreover there is no "2 parks" ticket like in Paris) so you will have to make a choice, each huge park having its exclusivities. To celebrate Tokyo Disney Resort's 35th anniversary , we've selected ten must-see attractions at Disneyland and DisneySea .
At Disneyland Park
- Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek
It may not be the attraction that will bring you the most sensations, but it is unique in the world! You can chain the towers of Space Mountain in Paris, but the attraction dedicated to Monsters and Co. is a Japanese exclusive.
Armed with a flashlight, you will move forward in a vehicle to flush out the monsters. An interactive epic perfect for young and old alike. As soon as you enter the park, go get a FastPass so you don't miss this attraction.
- Pooh's Hunny Hunt
Nicknamed Pooh-san in Japan, our friend Winnie the Pooh is hugely popular with the Japanese, and so is this attraction! Stroll through the illustrated pages in line, climb into a pot of honey and accompany Winnie on her quest for sweet nectar.
Another attraction that will delight young and old. Make it your second FastPass of the day so you don't waste hours waiting behind enthusiastic Japanese people.
- "Its a small world"
The same song that stays in your head for days, the same wonder as at Disneyland Paris, but remade! Forty new characters have thus joined the singing dolls that you will see in our journey through cultures around the world. The opportunity to learn the famous song in Japanese.
Another FastPass attraction, to save for the end of the day in order to conclude with pure Disney magic.
- Parries
Be transported to a world of fantasy with Mickey and his friends in two unique parades. The new daytime parade has been organized since April 2018 to celebrate the park's 35th anniversary. At night, Disney characters light up the park's walkways in a beautiful and colorful spectacle.
To be in the front row, reserve your seats in advance in order to hope to receive a "hello" from a famous talking animal or your favorite princess.
At DisneySea Park
- Journey to the Center of the Earth
After passing through a crystal cave and a forest of giant mushrooms, you will be propelled out of the volcano to escape a lava monster. The attraction inspired by Jules Verne's novel shakes a little and the wagon reaches speeds of 75 km/h, so hurry to get a precious FastPass!
Also note that children under 1m17 cannot embark on the adventure.

- The Tower of Terror
Not the Twilight Zone as in the American and French versions of the attraction, but the story of a hotel owner who disappeared after taking the elevator to the top floor of his establishment, the Hotel Hightower. A story of idols and haunted dolls from Egypt, which ends in a dizzying free fall.
If your children exceed 1m02, grab the FastPass to enjoy the sensations.
- Indiana Jones Adventure
The famous explorer's attraction is not only one of the most thrilling in the park, the scenery of the queue is also breathtaking. The interior of the pyramid is so detailed that you won't notice the passage of time.
If you don't want to spend hours admiring the stones of the building, don't hesitate to take a FastPass or take the 'single rider' line if you don't mind being separated from your family or friends for attraction.
- Sindbad's Travel Storybook
After all these strong emotions, set off on a quiet cruise among 150 mechanical dolls to take a short break. Follow the adventures of Sindbad and his faithful baby tiger on a journey to distant lands.
It is the ideal attraction to relax and avoid waiting in line for hours, or if you have tired legs. It is not uncommon to see the Japanese sleeping during this relaxing walk.
- Nemo & Friends Searider
Inaugurated just a year ago, on May 12, 2017, the attraction dedicated to Nemo and his friends takes you on an exploration of the seabed in the company of characters from the famous cartoon. Hold on to your seat, because the ocean has its share of surprises in store!
The FastPass is essential if you want to escape the hours of queuing in the scorching sun or pouring rain.
