On the Mihara-dori side, you can see the "Living canyon" green wall, created by the artist and botanist Patrick Blanc.
Theatrical entrance
In the 3rd basement of Ginza Six is a cypress wood stage : welcome to the Noh theater! The scene was moved expressly from Shibuya, where the Kanze School troupe was based. Led by Kiyokazu Kanze , 26th head of the Kanze school and central figure of contemporary Noh, this school has been practicing the traditional art of Noh theater for 700 years .

Noh being very well received abroad, Ginza Six wanted to facilitate access to all within its complex. As in the opera, a system of subtitles will facilitate the comprehension of the neophytes and the strange ones. A system for the hearing impaired will also be put in place. The oldest form of theater in the world, Noh is listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Inside-out
Built in place of the old Matsuzakaya building, the Ginza Six building is a perfect balance between old and new. The combination between architecture and interior space design was played out on a work between the Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi and the French designer Gwenaël Nicolas.
Taniguchi seeks to "enhance the beauty of the content by its container". Originally, the place was divided into two buildings; but was unified by Taniguchi through a metallic Japanese visor design, noren . Ginza six is a place with an international atmosphere, but the interior of which reflects the Japanese essence.
