Sony Explora Science ソニー・エクスプローラサイエンス

A science museum in Tokyo!

Located in the Aqua City shopping complex in Odaiba, the SonyExplora Science is a science museum where young and old discover and experience the fundamental principles of light, sound and image thanks to the latest technologies developed by the electronics giant. The perfect place for budding little scientists!

Not far from there, you will be able to test the power of your smile! Well seated in front of the lens, you have only one thing to do to claim victory: put on your best smile! Analyzed then compared to hundreds of others in the database and to that of your challenger, your smile will be rated . A funny challenge to take up with friends and family!

Technology at the service of science

In the "Sound" area, the visitor has access to unique sound spaces where he can experience the transmission of sound, the creation of rhythms and melodies, the distortion of his voice (speed, tone).

Then comes the "light" zone in which we explore the different methods of facial recognition, the capture and reproduction in real time of expressions and movements in a digital avatar or even the possibility of giving life to a Chinese shadow .

In this specific case, a computer will generate a moving image corresponding to the shape of the shadow cast by your hands, reproducing one of the ten animals proposed.
