At Bon'onsha, friendly clientele chat happily in a variety of languages, so diverse they evoke the general assembly of the UN. The couple who own the place are polyglots, welcoming local Japanese customers as well as Mandarin, English and French travelers alike.
The atmosphere is laid-back and the cafe is open all day - during off-peak hours, they offer a "cake set" menu, on which the tofu cheesecake is a must-try. Enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee for the reasonable sum of 550 yen.
