The first floor of the Imura Art Museum is a store selling very expensive pieces of antique French crystal glassware by Baccarat and Daum.
Visitors can marvel at the exquisite vases, glasses and figurines and also at the equally dizzying prices.

Imura Art Museum Collection
Downstairs in the basement of Imura Art Museum is a collection of around 50 pieces of mainly Japanese ceramics including kakiemon - porcelain with an overglaze decoration - from Arita, nabeshima ware by Imaemon as well as Imari ware dating back to the Edo Period.
Some of the pieces were originally sold in Europe but have been repurchased and returned to Japan.

Admission is 500 yen for adults, 300 yen for junior & high school students.
Imura Art Museum is open 10 am-6.30 pm (last entry 6 pm); The museum is closed on Wednesdays. Also closed over New Year.
Imura Art Museum is a ten-minute walk from Demachiyanagi Station on the Keihan Line. The Imura Art Museum is also walkable from the Demachiyanagi bus stop for Kyoto buses #1, #4, #3, #17, #102, #201 or #203 and Aoibashi Nishidume bus stop for buses #1, #37 or #205.
The Imura Art Museum is near to Shimogamo Shrine, Kawai Shrine, Kyoto Family Court and the Old Mitsui Family Shimogamo Villa.
There is an Imura Art Gallery on Marutamachi not connected with the Imura Art Museum.
