De JR West Setouchi Area Pass geeft u de mogelijkheid alle belangrijkste steden rond de Japanse Binnenzee te ontdekken.

How to use the SETOUCHI Area Pass
Delivery
- We will send the e-voucher to your email address within 5 business days after your order. If you want to get earlier, please contact us. (E-voucher is not the real ticket, you cannot take trains with the voucher)
- You can print out an e-voucher on A4 size paper, or you can show the voucher on your mobile device when you exchange.

You can exchange for the Setouchi Area Pass at one of the following locations:

Validity
The Setouchi Area Pass is valid for 7 days starting on the day of activation.
The following train lines and transportation services are accessible with the pass:
Seat Reservations
- With the pass, no additional fee is required for reserved seats.
- Non-reserved Ordinary Class cars can be accessed freely just by showing the pass.
- For reserved first-class seats (Green cars), you will have to pay additional fees.
- To access the platforms, show your pass to the JR staff located at the platform gates.
- For a reserved seat, ask the JR staff at the ticket office.
- It is a personal pass and cannot be transferred to someone else.
- Please always carry your passport when using the pass, as station and train staff may check it.
Cancellation and Modification
- An unused voucher is refundable for one year from the date of issue.
- The voucher can be refunded if it has never been exchanged in Japan for the pass.
- A cancellation fee of 15% of the price of the voucher will be retained.
- No refund is possible for a voucher more than one year after the date of issue.
- No refund is possible for a lost or stolen pass.
Eligibility
Visitors traveling as tourists who have a temporary visitor entry status are eligible for this pass. Japanese passport holders are not eligible for this pass.

The JR West Setouchi Area Pass enables you to discover all of the major cities around the Seto Inland Sea.
The pass gives you access to the Korakuen gardens in Okayama from Osaka, one of Japan's top three gardens, an enchantment of light and colors.
Then take a trip to Hiroshima, restored since the Second World War, with its large Peace Park, renovated Castle and Shukkei en gardens. Not far from Hiroshima is Miyajima, accessible via ferry that can be ridden on the JR West Setouchi Area Pass, where you can admire the famous torii of Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The city of Fukuoka will surprise you through its unique culture; its harbor, located opposite Korea, was the center of the first exchanges between Japan and the Asian continent. A charming blend of urbanity and tradition, it is a historic town worth travel that is not to be missed.
Or explore the North area of Shikoku Island: Matsuyama and the Dogo Onsen, thought to be Japan's oldest hot spring and then Takamatsu, at the North East of Shikoku where is located one of the most beautiful Japanese gardens Ritsurin.
