The apartment is minutes away from the west end of Ikebukuro Station, one of Tokyo's hotspots with a wide selection of restaurants, shops and nightlife. The many lines that serve this station facilitate access to all Tokyo's tourist sites. Facing west, the apartment will allow you to enjoy magnificent sunsets.

Description of the house

Located on the top floor of a residential building, this apartment offers a view facing Tokyo and very little neighborhood. It is composed of a spacious kitchen, a Western-style bedroom with two single beds and a tatami bedroom with two futons, both very bright thanks to their large windows. The bathroom has a bathtub where you can relax after a day of exploring Tokyo.

Ikebukuro is one of the most importants "centers" of Tokyo. Located in the North-West on the Yamanote line, the numerous train and subway lines of its station makes it a perfect departure point for any kind of excursions. Very lively area, you will find all types of leisures in this neighbourhood. On the East side, the Sunshine City with its 60 floors tower. On the West side, the Nishi Ichiban Gai and Romance Dori offer a huge variety of restaurants.

In order to increase the attractiveness of Kyoto City as an international tourism destination and to plan the further promotion of tourism, Kyoto City will impose a municipal accommodation tax on all guests staying within Kyoto City limits starting on October 1, 2018.

The municipality plans to use the tax revenue to conduct a more balanced method of city planning to make Kyoto both a favorable place to live and to visit.

The tax will be imposed on those staying at any facilities accepting money for accommodation as stipulated in the Hotel and Ryokan Management Law.

This applies to hotels, ryokans, simple accommodations, as well as residence rentals stipulated in the Private Lodging Business Law.

The tax rate is set at :

- 200 yen per night per guest who pays a room charge of less than 20,000 yen per night,

- 500¥ for those paying 20,000¥ to less than 50,000¥ ,

- 1,000¥ for those paying 50,000¥ or more.

The accommodation tax will be collected by your Travel Angel when checking into your house.
