On Omotesando Avenue, flashy colors attract the attention of passersby. A red and green temple seems to built into a building. Welcome to the Orie to be ofntal Bazaar.
The architecture of the façade, atypical among modern storefronts of the avenue, seems to be of Walt Disney imagination with japanese tendencies.
However, it is a shopping Temple. You will find the most famous products of Japanese know-how: fans, kokeshi (traditional wooden dolls), fine papers, kimonos, lacquered furniture and prints of quite good quality quality. The prices, which are quite affordable, increase as you climb the three floors of the building to the most substantial articles.
The place is perfect to fill-up on souvenirs. It has the advantage of accepting euros, American dollars and major credit cards. Please note, the store is closed on Thursdays.
