Mongolia Village Tenger Hotel モンゴリアビレッジテンゲル
Camp in a Mongolian Yurt
With its 32 Yurts, the Mongolia Village Tenger hotel offers its visitors a unique experience inspired by the nomadic peoples of Central Asia.
An authentic experience
A traditional Central Asian habitat, the yurt is a large circular tent with a wooden frame. Quick to disassemble and reassemble and easy to transport, its use is particularly favored by nomadic peoples.
The yurt is characterized by a central hearth, surrounded by beds, cupboards, chests of drawers, and low tables, with an opening in the roof for ventilation and a view of the sky! The term "tenger" means "blue sky" in the language of Genghis Khan. A way of life that inspired the creation of the Mongolia Village Tenger hotel.
The 32 yurts of Mongolia Village Tenger are similar to the yurts of Central Asia since they come straight from Mongolia, just like the furniture they contain. Difficult to be more authentic unless, of course, you have already stayed in the Mongolian steppes.

Modern equipment
Even though yurts have been used for centuries and centuries, Mongolia Village Tenger Hotel is far from rustic accommodation and has all the amenities of a Japanese-style hotel. Each of the hotel's yurts is equipped with an air conditioner and an LCD TV screen. Wi-Fi access is also available for travelers staying at the hotel.
In a yurt, there is no bathroom, but don't worry because the hotel has several single-sex toilet blocks equipped with Japanese-style toilets and is located less than a minute's walk from each of the yurts.
Finally, like showers, the hotel has a lovely onsen consisting of 2 indoor pools and a rotenburo, or open-air pool, ideal for relaxing while contemplating the starry sky. Shampoo, shower gel, and other toiletries are provided.

A taste of Mongolia
To immerse you more deeply in Mongolian culture while delighting your palate, the hotel restaurant offers many dishes inspired by Mongolian cuisine depending on the season, including the famous Mongolian Mutton Barbecue, available between April and October, or even a Mongolian breakfast. However, if you prefer something closer to home, there's a Western-style menu.
You will also have the opportunity to try Mongolian vodka, which is slightly different from Russian vodka.
You can find some Mongolian foods and sweets in the hotel shop and many other souvenirs, from deel, traditional Mongolian outfits, to morin khuur, string instruments emblematic of Mongolia whose handle is shaped like the head of a horse.
Activities to do on-site
The hotel organizes many activities for its guests. You will thus be able to learn about archery or the making of buuz, kinds of Mongolian dumplings, discover various popular toys and games, or even be impressed by a concert of overtone singing khöömei and morin khuur!
Finally, for those who would like to explore the hotel's surroundings, the Mount Jeans Nasu ski resort is located just 25 min away by car, and lift passes are on sale at the hotel.
If you prefer hiking to skiing, the resort's cable car operates all year round, which allows the curious admirers' grandiose mountain landscapes famous for their azaleas in spring and gentians in autumn!
